Silent Struggles

What Your Child Isn’t Saying (But Needs You to Know) Kids don’t always express their struggles in words—they show them in behavior. A withdrawn child might need reassurance. An irritable child might be overwhelmed. Instead of assuming defiance, pause and ask: What does my child need right now? A listening ear, a tight hug, or just quiet support can help them open up. Watch, listen, and validate their emotions—because feeling understood is the first step to healing.
